TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Police Headquarters` PR chief Insp. Gen. Setyo Wasisto said that one of the suspected terrorists who died during Densus 88`s operation, rolled-out after the Surabaya bombing, was a man who collected funds for the Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD) network.

"One of them, Budi Satrio, was a fundraiser for JAD," Setyo said at the Police Headquarters in Jakarta, Tuesday, March 15.

Densus 88 raided Budi Satrio's home in Masangan Wetan Village, Sidoarjo Regency, on Monday morning, May 14. Setyo said the Densus 88 squad had to take him down for resisting arrest. 

Setyo said investigators are still tracking down the flow of funds to and from JAD Surabaya. A number of savings accounts are being examined. He said that so far JAD Surabaya has been getting funds from members' contribution and fees.

While pursuing Jamaah Ansharut Daulah members, Densus 88 also seized a number of explosives and bombs that were ready to be detonated.

"There were explosives and bombs confiscated from Budi's house."
