TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State airport operator Angkasa Pura II [AP2] will build the fourth terminal of Soekarno-Hatta Airport [CGK] and revamp terminals 1 and 2.

Once the projects are completed, the airport is estimated to have an annual capacity of 86 million passengers.

Angkasa Pura II president director Muhammad Awaluddin said Terminal 1C would be the first to undergo revitalization. The company is targeting to have a bid-winner for the tender before this year's Eid al-Fitr.

"Once Terminal 1C is completed, Terminal 1 B will be revamped. And then we will continue with 1A," he said in Tangerang, Sunday, April 15.

Awaluddin said that AP2 would also revamp the airport's Terminal 2F. The company expects to have a bid-winner for the project this year.

The projects' construction is estimated to take 2.5 years for completion.
