TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta bus transportation Transjakarta serving PGC 1-Harmoni route rolled over in Kampus UKI station, Cawang, East Jakarta on early Monday, April 9. Ten passengers were injured in the accident.
The legal enforcement head of the Jakarta Police's traffic directorate, Adj. Sr. Comr. Budiyanto stated the accident occurred at 04:30. “Yes, Transjakarta bus with number plate B-7053-IS rolled over this early morning,” said Budiyanto in a written statement today, April 9.
The accident began as the bus passing Jl. Mayjen Sutoyo from south to north direction hit the road separator and rolled over to its left side which allegedly due to the driver’s lack of concentration.

“Form the crash, the bus was damaged and passengers were injured; they were then taken to UKI Hospital for medical treatment,” Budiyanto explained.
The ten victims are:
1.Suparman (40), wound on the left hand.
2.Rama Raditya (30), wound on the bottom lip.
3.Hendra Rudiyanto (35), wound on the left shoulder.
4.Cipto Budianto (40), wound on the left hand and eyes.
5.Iwan (37), wound on the left foot and hand.
6.Ahmad Nasrudin, wound on the right hand.
7.Welly Yuslih (27), wound on the back of the head and right cheek.
8.Dwi Septi Arif (35), wound on the right shoulder.
9.Fernando (40), wound on left chest.
10.Tri Bidasari (26), wound on right hand and left shoulder.
The police are currently examining the Transjakarta driver Sutikno as the suspect.
