Jokowi Receives Credentials from Russian Ambassador

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi received the credentials from 11 Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (LBBP) Ambassador of the friendly countries domiciled in Indonesia. The handover was done at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, today.

One of the ambassadors who handed over the credentials was Lyudmila Georgievna Vorobieva from the Russian Federation.

Previously, the ambassadors attended the welcoming ceremonies of the state guests in the courtyard of Merdeka Palace. One by one, their national anthems are played by the marching band of the presidential security forces.

After that, the main agenda of the credential submission was done in the Credential Room, Merdeka Palace. The Director-General of Protocol and Consular of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs/KPN Andri Hadi guided the process of the handover.

“We present to you Mr. President, Your Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ghassan Mohamed Adnan Shaikho to submit the credentials as an Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Indonesia,” said Andri at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday, April 4. Further, alternately the ambassadors handed over the credentials.

The agenda continued with a veranda talk between Jokowi and the ambassadors. Here is a list of ambassadors of the friendly countries who submit the credentials to Jokowi:

1. Mohamed Ghassan Mohamed Adnan Shaikho from the Kingdom of Bahrain

2. Kim Chang-beom from the Republic of South Korea

3. Irakli Asshvili the Ambassador from Georgia

4. Selima Bersawakawayali Veisamasama of the Republic of Fiji

5. Lyudmila Georgievna Vorobieva from the Russian Federation

6. Gary Francis Quinlan AO from Australia

7. Beata Stoczynska of the Republic of Poland

8. Dorothy Samali Hyuha from the Republic of Uganda

9. Ramzia Diab Ghanim from the Republic of Gambia

10. Normans Penke from the Republic of Latvia

11. Jeanne Guehe of the Republic of Ivory Coast
