TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian Solidarity Party [PSI] chair Grace Natalie said the recent speech by Great Indonesia Movement [Gerindra] Party chief patron Prabowo Subianto, who augured Indonesia would dissolve in 2030, expressed no positive hopes for Indonesia.
"If someone says Indonesia will dissolve in the future, it means that the person has no positive hopes for Indonesia," Grace said in the party’s central board [DPP] office in Jakarta, Friday, March 23.
Grace said PSI, as a party of the younger generation, had hopeful views for the country. She added one of the goals of her party was to better the Indonesian politics. “We believe that Indonesia will still prevail until hundreds of years to come,” she said.

She added the country’s future was in the hands of the young generation and that it was always worth fighting for. “Destiny can be changed, it depends on us."
She said Indonesians should remain upbeat that the country would remain intact so long as they were willing to fight for it. “What will become of us in the future, it’s all in our hands.”
Grace said her party had continued to recruit the finest people to sit in the parliament. “The good ones have to fight, otherwise we will see the destruction of Indonesia due to local or international threats,” she said.
