TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto in his speech asserted that by 2030 Indonesia will be collapsed. The threat seems to be real because Prabowo quoted the statement from a book.
In a 1 minute and 31 seconds video footage, Prabowo argued the reason is that 80 percent of land in the archipelago is managed by only one percent of native Indonesian. “It’s not a good topic, but we must discuss it,” he said.

The prophecy pointed out in the video posted by the party's account soon became the hot topic in the country and dragged the name Peter W Singer. He is the author of a fiction novel entitled Ghost Fleet whose content quoted by Prabowo about the collapse of Indonesia. His name is now widely known by Indonesian people who curious about him and his books.
Singer seems to know that his fictional work becomes a serious conversation in Indonesia. Singer tweeted that Prabowo quoted his book Ghost Fleet in a fiery speech. He is probably still waiting for the continuation which occurred due to his fictional work cited by the Indonesian opposition leader. Meanwhile, in Indonesia, various comments are still coming up. One of them, Vice President Jusuf Kalla said that Prabowo's statement came from a fictional source.
