Asian Games 2018: Skateboard Training Hampered by Caterpillars

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The training camp for Asian Games 2018 skateboard athletes had to be moved from its appointed location. The current one in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) was bugged by caterpillars.

“We had to move our training schedule if it rains. We had to postpone our training at TMII since it is currently the caterpillar high-season,” said the team’s leader Jo Jaya Charles, who is also the chairman of Porserosi skateboard commission on Thursday, March 13.

The caterpillar high-season that is sparked by the rainy season has caused itching for skateboard athletes and coach during the training session in TMII.

The team’s training is now moved to the BSD Extreme Park in Tangerang, Banten, since late February.
