BMKG: Jakarta Should Stay Alert to Rain, Lightning, Strong Winds  

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) estimates that Jakarta will have moderate rain and some local rainfall by noon today, Sunday, March 11.

“Watch out for the potential of rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in the areas of West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta between noon and afternoon,” wrote BMKG in his official account.

In the evening, estimated in some areas, such as West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and Thousand island, local rain still occurs. Meanwhile, the areas of South Jakarta and East Jakarta are predicted to be cloudy.

Toward dawn, almost all Jakarta areas are predicted to be cloudy. Except for the Thousand island, it still rains locally.

BMKG noted in the weather forecasts, the air temperature in Jakarta today is in the range of 24-29 degrees Celsius. While the air humidity reaches 75-95 percent.
