TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) commemorates the National Music Day which coincides with the birthday of national hero and the national anthem songwriter, Wage Rudolf Soepratman. Through his Twitter account, Jokowi expressed his joy towards the celebration.
He hoped national music will be preserved. "Hopefully the existence of national music will be more acknowledged in the global world," Jokowi tweeted today, Friday, March 9.
