TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Setya Novanto`s lawyer Maqdir Ismail said his client was serious in proposing as a justice collaborator or JC to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). It was proven by Setya’s cooperative attitude who wanted to admit the recording submitted by the prosecutor as evidence in Monday's trial, February 26.
"We have sent the request; it means that he is serious in filing for a justice collaborator," Maqdir told Tempo Saturday, March 3.

Setya admitted the recording of a conversation between him, the boss of PT Biomorf Mauritius Johannes Marliem, and businessman Andi Agustinus alias Andi Narogong. Setya Novanto also admitted it happened at his residence.
On the recording, the three were heard talking about the design of the e-KTP project and the distribution of the quota. Setya mentioned the seal cost if he was involved in the legal case and caught by KPK of Rp20 billion.
Setya Novanto also mentioned the Democrat party twice in the recording. Another discussion mentioned in the recording is about other companies who willing to provide ten percent share if they can replace Marliem in the e-KTP project.
