TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) spokesperson Sutopo Purwo Nugroho stated that seven victims died in the landslide taking place in Pasir Panjang Village, Brebes, Central Java, have been identified.
"Two other victims still cannot be identified. Brebes landslide emergency post reported nine died. However, the actual victims died in the landslide are seven," Sutopo said in Jakarta on Sunday (25/2).
Several unidentified body parts are still placed in Brebes General Hospital until emergency operation is done and while waiting for the results DNA test.
In addition to seven dead victims, the landslide also caused five people injured and 13 people are declared missing.
