Singer Elvie Sukaesih`s Daughter Dhawiya Arrested for Drugs

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Police nabbed Dhawiya Zaida (33), daughter of renown dangdut singer Elvie Sukaesih, in a drug case.
Dhawiya was arrested at her house on Usaha Cawang Street, East Jakarta on Friday, Feb. 16, at 12:30 a.m.
"From the arrest, 0.45 grams and 0.49 grams of crystal methamphetamine and used bongs were confiscated as evidence," Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Argo Yuwono said in Jakarta on Friday.

In addition to Dhawiya, Argo revealed Jakarta police's narcotics unit head, Adj. Sr. Comr. Jean Calvin also nabbed Dhawiyah’s fiancée Muhammad (34) for carrying 0.38 grams of meth, two Dhawiya’s brothers Syehan and Ali Zaenal Abidin, and Syehan’s wife Chauri Gita.
Argo explained that the police received a tip-off that Muhammad often purchases drugs in Cawang, East Jakarta. The police then nabbed Muhammad and continued their search to Dhawiya’s room in which she, Syehan and Chauri were caught red-handed using meth.
