As many as 1,700 plots of land from the total of 2,600 have already been registered to be acquired. Angkasa Pura II continues to complete the payments for the lands they have acquired each week.

According to Kelik, the budget for acquiring the land plots had been prepared since 2015. The state-owned airport operator was funded through the state capital injection (PMN) mechanism with Rp2 trillion budget in 2015 and another Rp2 trillion the following year.
