TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Dilan 1990 movie began screening on Thursday, January 25. During its premiere, Dilan 1990 was watched by 225,000 viewers.

The number of Dilan 1990 viewers was revealed through a post by the official Instagram account, Falcon Pictures on Friday afternoon, January 26.

“Thank you. 225,000 viewers have been waiting for Dilan 1990. #dilan1990 @iqbaal.e @vaneshaass,” the caption on the Falcon Pictures Instagram account says.

While announcing the number of viewers on its premiere, Falcon Pictures uploaded a snippet of the Dilan 1990 scene. The scene featured Dilan (Iqbaal CJR) who is smiling to Milea (Vanesha Prescilla). Dilan's action seemed to portray the happiness of reaching many viewers on its premiere.

Achievement of Dilan 1990 film on the first day received appreciation from netizens. They praised and conveyed their hope for the film.

“All of you are amazing,” a netizen said.

“Sure! It can reach 1 million viewers,” commented from another netizen.

“Success, hopefully, it gets more viewers,” said the netizen.

The film tells the story of teenage romance at that time. Dilan is a stubborn young man who goes to school in Bandung. Dilan then falls in love with a new student named Milea. In order to gain the love from Milea, Dilan tries to approach her in many unique ways.
