TEMPO.COMakassar - Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Deputy Chairman Laode Syarif stated that Setya Novanto proposed himself to be a justice collaborator in the electronic ID card (e-KTP) graft case.

Pak Setnov offered himself to become a justice collaborator. It means he admits guilt,” said Laode Syarif in Makassar on Tuesday, January 23.

However, Laode is still unsure whether Setya Novanto’s proposal will be accepted by KPK.

Laode reasons that KPK has more than 100 witnesses that have been questioned for the e-KTP graft case and has prepared ample evidence and information.

However, during a court session, Setya Novanto denied accusations suggesting that he allocated a five percent fee for the House of Representatives (DPR). He mentioned it during a court session involving Andi Narogong.

According to Andi Narogong’s testimony, Setya Novanto was the person responsible for allocating Rp500 billion for DPR members and Officials at the Home Affairs Ministry.
