TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Deputy Governor Sandiaga Uno stated that the current situation regarding the fraud case of the one-acre land purchase deal in Tangerang roots back to a conflict between two entrepreneurs.
“In all honesty, there are two sides of entrepreneurs that are in a feud. And coincidently a company that was liquidated for an ill-prospect business,” said Sandiaga Uno yesterday on Wednesday, January 17.

The Deputy Governor said that the company has been thoroughly liquidated. He argues that the lawsuit should have been a civil case. Sandiaga Uno firmly said that he will be giving an open statement regarding this matter. “Nothing will be kept secret,” he promised.
Sandiaga said that his relationship with the businessman had been relatively good, but ever since he took office, Sandiaga chose to limit the role of the businessmen as an investor that invests in businesses throughout Jakarta which in turn creates jobs.
“I personally want them to continue to invest in Jakarta and create new jobs. Even though we might have had a history, but today is a new phase for my life as a deputy governor,” he said.
Sandiaga Uno and his former business partner Andreas Tjahyadi were reported to the police on March 8, 2017, by Fransiska Kumalawati Susilo for selling her a one-acre piece of land for Rp12 billion back in 2012. Andreas was named as a suspect in the case.
