Bank Indonesia asked Go-Pay to stop their QR code payment feature since it does not comply with the Bank Indonesia regulation No. 18/40/PBI/2016 on the Implementation of a Payment Transaction Process.
The central bank deemed the feature has entered the product launch phase, while the permit Go-Jek obtained was limited to a test trial.
