Minister Retno Heads for Jordan to Discuss Palestine Issue

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia Foreign Affairs Minister Retno Marsudi headed for Amman, Jordan on Monday (10/12) to attend a bilateral meeting with Palestine and Jordan Foreign Affairs Ministers.
"Indonesian Foreign Affairs Minister will discuss the issue of Jerusalem and provide full support to Palestine," Foreign Affairs Ministry Spokesperson said in Jakarta on Sunday (10/12).
Minister Retno Marsudi is also scheduled to discuss the preparation for a special meeting for Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OKI) to be held on Desember 13, in Istambul relating to a statement from US President Donald Trump officially acknowledging Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
In another occasion, Minister Retno Marsudi highlighted the importance of realizing peace between Palestine and Israel by encouraging a solution for the two countries.
