Police Use Sophisticated Devices to Look Into Setnov Accident

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Police are still expecting the results of traffic accident analyst (TAA) for Toyota Fortuner in which Setya Novanto (Setnov) rode on Jalan Permata Berlian, South Jakarta.
On Friday afternoon, Nov. 16, the police processed Setnov's accident scene by implementing TAA method. The officers found two traces of collision on the sidewalk and the tree.
“The analysis from the accident scene will be inputted into the computer, and it will result in a simulation," Jakarta Police Traffic deputy chief Adj. Com. Sr. Kingkin Winisuda explained at the scene.
From the simulation, Kingkin continued, the accurate speed of the vehicle on Thursday night will be revealed.
He alleged that the Toyota Fortuner driven by Hilman Mattauch was at a speed faster than 60km/hour. "Accident scene investigation currently points at single-vehicle collision," he stated.
Police have investigated Hilman and three other witnesses including Setnov’s assistant Reza Pahlevi and two security officers near the scene.
