TEMPO.CO, Bandung - Four members of a family died because they were buried in a landslide that hit Sidamulih district, Pangandaran Regency, West Java on Saturday, Oct. 7, early in the morning.
West Java rescue team coordinator Joshua Banjarnahor said that in addition to the dead casualties, there are also injured victims.

"All victims have been evacuated by the residents," Joshua said.
He explained that the landslide struck due to torrential rain pouring over Sangkan Bawan hamlet, Kalijati Village, Sidamulih District, Pangandaran since Friday.
The landslide wiped a house and took the lives of Arsih (55), Yuyun (35), Aldi (5), and Andika (10 months). The injured victims are Rahman (40), Ari (14), and Anida (8 months).
The landslide has also blocked transportation access to the area. Pangandaran district administration and West Java Provincial administration have handled the victims and cleared the transportation access.
