TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) named Cilegon Mayor Tubagus Iman Ariyadi as a suspect in a graft case. He was alleged to receive Rp 1.5 billion of bribery related to permit for Cilegon Integrated Licensing Service and Investment Agency (BPPTPM) in 2017.
"After investigation, an initial evidence of graft given to Cilegon Mayor and other parties was found," KPK deputy chair Basaria Panjaitan said in Jakarta (23/9).
In addition to naming Tubagus Iman a suspect, KPK also named five other suspects. Cilegon BPPTPM head Ahmad Dita Prawira and an enterpreneur named Hendry were also named as suspects receiving a bribe. Three other suspects PT BA Project Manajer Bayu Dwinanto Utomo, CEO of PT KIEC Tubagus Donny Sugihmukti, and the legal manager of PT KIEC Eka Wandoro were identified as the briber.
The three suspects taking bribes and the other three suspects giving bribes will face charges as stipulated in Law No. 20/2001 on Corruption Crime Eradication.
