TEMPO.CO, San Francisco - Apple reportedly will launch the iPhone 8 at 9am on 12 September. Mac4Ever wrote a report saying it was confirmed with several telecom companies that Apple would hold a press event on Sept. 12, as quoted by Techcrunch, Thursday, August 24, 2017.
This will not be a big surprise because Apple has announced a new iPhone every September since 2012. Apple also always holds press conferences on Tuesday for several reasons. So many people are expecting the announcement between September 5 and September 12. We'll know for sure as soon as Apple sends a press invite in these few days.
So if you're thinking of buying a new iPhone now, you'll have to wait a few more weeks. Apple usually starts a pre-order on Friday 15 September after a press conference. And the device will most likely go on sale a week later, on September 22nd.

If you are not planning on buying a new iPhone, you will still get a great software update with iOS 11. Apple will release the final version of iOS 11 between September 12th and September 22nd.
Apple may also be announcing a new version of the Apple Watch. The main change with this new watch is LTE connectivity. There may be a small update to Apple TV as well as with a 4K video output.
Rumor has it that Apple has been working on not one or two, but three different iPhone models. The company will reportedly announce the more powerful iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus, as well as a new super premium phone, called the iPhone 8.
The iPhone 8 will display a taller screen that will completely fill the front of the device, except for speakers, cameras and sensors at the top.
