TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Andi Narogong, a suspect in the electronic identity cards (e-KTP) graft case will stand a trial today at the Corruption Court. Today’s trial session will hear the indictment read out by public prosecutors of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
The KPK has cracked down Andi Narogong’s involvement in the Rp5.9 trillion project and named him a suspect on March 23. Andi is accused of actively involved in the e-KTP budgeting and procurement.
The KPK has previously questioned witnesses for suspect Andi Narogong. The anti-graft agency in April questioned his younger brother Vidi Gunawan and businessman Setyo Dwi Suahrtanto.

Moreover, the KPK has also questioned the Government Printing Agency (PNRI) production director Yuniarto, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) lecturer Munawar Ahmad and the Home Affairs Ministry official Dian Hasanah.
The questioning was done to prove irregularities in the procurement of the project that caused Rp2.3 trillion in state losses. In early May, PNRI former director Isnu Edhy Wijaya gave his testimony in an e-KTP graft trial session against former Home Affairs officials Irman and Sugiharto.
Isnu said that Irman had asked him to coordinate with Andi in the e-KTP project. According to him, Andi had a major role in bringing together all competent parties in the project, such as Johannes Tan and Paulus Tanos. The meeting was aimed at naming a winning bidder of the e-KTP procurement.
The KPK handed over Andi Narogong’s dossier to the Corruption Court on August 7.
