TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Mandate Party (PAN) faction in the House of Representatives is considering withdrawing from the KPK inquiry committee.
“We are evaluating the committee’s performance... summon our members to find out the progress. We are likely to withdraw,” Yandi Susanto said in Jakarta yesterday.
Yandi said that the decision was made after PAN monitored its members at the KPK inquiry committee.

He said that the inquiry committee has lost its initial purpose of improving and strengthening the KPK.
“We see that the inquiry committee want to weaken the KPK whereas PAN joined the committee to strengthen the KPK,” he said.
He declined to reveal when the party will announce the evaluation results about its position in the KPK inquiry committee, adding that it will be done in the near future.
