INFO TEMPO: PALYJA Water Supply Disrupted by Electricity Shutdown

INFO TEMPO - PT PAM Lyonnaise Jaya (PALYJA), a water supply and service provider for West Jakarta area, announces that its water supply to customers is interrupted by the cessation of PLN electricity to the Water Treatment Plant 2 (IPA 2) in Pejompongan starting at 04:16 am yesterday, July 21. It causes the pumps at IPA 2 Pejompongan to stop operating.

In its press release, PALYJA continues to work and collaborate with relevant parties to do the best solution in handling this situation as soon as possible. It is expected that the power supply for IPA 2 can be recovered so that PALYJA can provide normal service to the customer.

PALYJA also alerted the entire fleet of 22 tank cars to anticipate emergencies, such as hospitals, houses of worship and to supply clean water to some areas of PALYJA.

The affected areas due to reduced water supply are as follows: Grogol, North Petojo, Duri Pulo and Wijaya Kusuma.

Meanwhile, the areas where the water supply is stopped are: Setiabudi, Karet, Karet Kuningan, Karet Semanggi, East Kuningan, Pasar Manggis, Menteng Atas, Menteng Dalam, Manggarai, Senayan, Rawa Barat, West Kuningan, Karet Tengsin, Petojo Selatan, Kampung Bali, Kebon Kacang, Kebon Sirih, Gondangdia, Menteng, parts of Pegangsaan, parts of  Kwitang, parts of Senen, Petamburan, Kota Bambu, Slipi, Tomang, Pejagalan, Pluit, Palmerah, Kemanggisan, Duri Pulo, Kali Anyar, Jembatan Besi, Sukabumi Utara, Duri Kepa, NorthTanjung Duren, South Tanjung Duren, Kebon Jeruk, Kedoya Selatan, Jelambar Baru, Jelambar, Pancoran, Bukit Duri, Manggarai Selatan, Kampung Melayu, and Gelora.
