According to Iriawan, the case representation will involve the Jakarta Police, the Depok Precinct Police, and East Jakarta Precinct Police.

Iriawan revealed that the knife attack against Hermansyah took place in the morning at 4 am on Sunday, July 9, 2017. He added that the Jakarta Police will collect evidence in the form of CCTV footages and question witnesses.

“We will question railway construction workers,” he added.

Hermansyah, 46, was attacked at Jagorawi Toll Road after a car driven by his brother was hit by a sedan. He chased the sedan that was trying to escape. Several cars, allegedly friends of the sedan’s driver, showed up and forced Hermansyah’s car to the roadside. When Hermansyah got off his car, he was assaulted by five people, and one of them had a knife.
