TEMPO.CO, Bandung - The counterterrorism team (Densus 88) arrested a partner of the alleged assembler of the pressure cooker bomb that went off in a rented room in Bandung. The man, with the initial K, 26, was arrested for allegedly being involved in the bomb assembly.
West Java Police spokesperson Sr. Comr. Yusri Yunus said that K was arrested at his parents’ house in Tasikmalaya on Tuesday, July 11, 2017.

“K was arrested by Densus 88 in relation to the pressure cooker bomb that went off in Agus Wiguna’s room at Kubangbeureum Village in Bandung,” Yusri said in a press release received by Tempo today.
Yusri revealed that K, who works as food seller in Bandung, was Agus’ roommate. He added that K has been living at his parents’ house in Tasikmalaya since the Ramadan month.
The national police's Densus 88 searched the house and seized some evidence, such as religious books and a backpack. However, Densus 88 did not find any explosive materials.
