Obama, Michelle Arrive in Yogyakarta

TEMPO.CO, Yogyakarta - Former US president Barack Obama and his entourage have arrived in Yogyakarta at noon today, June 28.

The entourage left Adisutjipto airbase around 12:35 pm before heading to the northern ring road accompanied by the police and Air Force.

"They will immediately head to Tentrem Hotel before visiting Prambanan Temple," a police officer said.

Obama was seen riding a black Toyota Land Cruiser with his wife Michelle Obama who wore a sleeveless white dress.

When the Obama entourage left the airbase, around 15 cars followed them. The traffic on the street was closed around five minutes to secure the Obama and his entourage who will continue their vacation in Yogyakarta after spending a week in Bali.
