TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Thousands gathered Manchester on Tuesday, May 23, to hold vigils for victims of the suicide bombing at an Ariana Grande's concert that killed 22 people and injured dozens. The people came together in solidarity to show unity, mourning for the victims and defying the terror.

Thousands rallied to the Manchester City's Albert Square to pay tributes to those killed in the attack.

An explosive device went off at the Manchester Arena on Monday night, at the end of an Ariana Grande music concert attended by many children and teenagers, and their parents.

Moments after the terror, survivors stayed in the area to look for their friends and family members they were separated from.

The British Police have named 22-year-old Salman Ramadan Abedi as the suicide bomber. The police also raided two residential areas in Manchester as part of the investigation.

UK Prime Minister Theresa May said it is a possibility that the government "cannot ignore that there is a wider group of individuals linked to this attack".
