TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - The Soekarno-Hatta Airport resort Police has named 90s rapper Iwa Kusuma a.k.a. Iwa K as a suspect for possessing marijuana. The rapper was arrested last Saturday when he was about to board a flight to Palembang.
The resort police's chief Sr. Comm. Arief Rachman said on Monday that the forensic lab results showed the rapper filled three of his cigarette rolls with 1.5 grams of marijuana.
He also said that Iwa's urine tested also positive for Tetra hydro cannabinol (THC), an active compound found in cannabis. Arief said the police are waiting for the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) to decide if the rapper will be taken for rehabilitation.
Iwa K was apprehended at the airport's security checkpoint (SCP) early Saturday morning, April 29.
