TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Regional Secretary Saefullah said the province's economic growth in the period of January-February this year is 'worrying'.
In fact, he added, in the past two to three years, Jakarta's economic growth has always been above the average national economic growth.
According to Saefullah, there are two factors that hinder Jakarta's economic growth.
First, the rising electricity rate and the rising administrative fee to obtain vehicle registration document (STNK).
"This fact slows down economic growth a bit,” Saefullah said.
The other factor, Saefullah added, is the price of basic commodities that are not stable yet.
“For example, the price of chili that is still at Rp120,000 tp Rp140,000,” he added.
