TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Persib is aiming to win Indonesian Liga 1 that will start on April 15, 2017. The club's coach Djadjang Nurdjaman said that he is ready to lead the team.
"It's a challenge for us to be the best, to make the 'bobotoh' [Persib fans] happy. We want to win Liga 1," Djadjang said, as quoted from the club's official website Persib.co.id.
Persib Bandung is currently the champion of the Indonesian League. However, it failed to perform in the Indonesia Soccer Championship (ISC) and only won third place in the 2017 Presidents Cup competition.
Djadjang promised that he and his club will work harder and will give his best for the club and the fans who always give overwhelming support.
"The target is not a burden. We will use it to motivate ourselves to perform better and work harder," said Djadjang.
