TEMPO.CO, Nusa Penida - The Yellow Bridge connecting Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan in Bali's Nusa Penida Island has become the island's landmark. At night, the bridge that is now named as Nusa Penida's tourism icon lights up in colors, offering a spectacular sight.
"In the evening, the bridge catches the attention of passers-by, both locals and tourists," said Lembongan's administrative office staff I Gede Ketut Arjaya, Wednesday, March 15.
The Yellow Bridge is 140 meters long and 1.8 meters wide. It is also known as the Love Bridge.
Hundreds of tourists can be seen on and around the bridge before sunset to enjoy the beautiful scenery and background offered by the landmark.
The Yellow Bridge was built to replace an old one that collapsed in December 2016. Built using a Rp3.4 billion state and regional budget, the bridge was opened on February 25 and blessed with a Hindu ritual ceremony.
