Tourism Minister Inaugurates South East Asia`s Biggest Fountain

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Tourism Minister Arief Yahya has inaugurated Sri Baduga Fountain Park in Purwakarta, West Java. The fountain is recorded as the largest fountain in South East Asia.
Arief said the fountain will be Purwakarta’s tourism icon in which the city is known as a city of a thousand parks.
"Sri Baduga Fountain Park situated in Buleud Lake can be a favorite destination as art performances are held every Saturday night which feature dance performance, mucic perfomances by Charly Van Houten’s group, Emka 9 and Purwakarta Percussion, as well as colosal dance performance," he added.
Menpar highly appreciates Purwakarta government for their effort to build a beautiful park with exquisite fountain and art performances.
The park operates every Saturday night from 7.30 to 10 pm. This facility is free of charge.
"This facility will definitely improve the people’s life qulity and their happiness index," Menpar said.
