Indonesia, Singapore to Discuss Territorial Seas Delimitation

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian Foreign Affairs Minister Retno Marsudi plans to conduct a working visit to Singapore on February 9-10, 2017 at the invitation of Singapore Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan.
According to the press release published on Singapore Foreign Affairs' official website on Wednesday, Feb. 9, Minister Retno is scheduled to meet with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Minister Balakrishnan who will host her to lunch.
Both Foreign Ministers will exchange the Instruments of Ratification for the Treaty between the Republic of Singapore and the Republic of Indonesia relating to the Delimitation of the Territorial Seas of the Two Countries in the Eastern Part of the Strait of Singapore, which was signed in 2014.
Minister Retno is also scheduled to deliver an RSIS Distinguished Public Lecture entitled “Indonesia’s Foreign Policy under the Jokowi Administration”, stated the press release.
