TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Asjaya Indosurya Securities predicts that the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) in today’s trading, January 23, 2017, will be affected by issuers’ financial reports, commodity prices and domestic economy.
Indosurya Research Director William Surya Wijaya said that the JCI will stay in a consolidation area, wherein JCI movements are still affected by annual financial statements of issuers that may be published this month.
Moreover, according to William, fluctuations in commodity prices will continue to affect the JCI movements. “Added to that is the stable economic condition that continues to underpin JCI’s movements; today, the JCI is expected to strengthen,” he said in a research.
The shares to watch out for today include JSMR, TLKM, UNVR, PGAS, PTPP, BBNI, TBIG, ASRI, and PWON.
