TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs Puan Maharani said that as the host country of Asian Games 2018, Indonesia is aiming for 20 gold medals.
“For a successful campaign, Indonesia’s target is 20 gold medals from 450 medals at stake,” Puan told a press conference after a limited meeting on Asian Games 2018 preparation at the Presidential Office in Jakarta on Monday, Oct 24, as quoted by Antara.
Meanwhile, the Youth and Sports Minister Imam Nahrawi said Indonesia is targeting 20 gold medals and top eight finish in the Asian Games 2018.
Imam said that Indonesia is expecting to win medals in badminton, lifting, athletic, pencak silat and karate.
