TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The government will issue the 14th Economic Policy Package on digital economy and e-commerce early next week, the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution said on Wednesday, who was accompanied by Communication and Informatics Minister Rudiantara after meeting President Joko Widodo in the Merdeka Palace.
“Mr. President has recommended [that the issuance of the economic policy package] on e-commerce [shall be carried out] early next week. Between Tuesday and Wednesday,” he said, as quoted by Bisnis Indonesia.
In the past few weeks, the government had frequently hold meetings to formulate the Economic Policy Package XIV on digital economy. However, both the Informatics Minister and the Coordinating Economic Minister had yet to specify the contents of the package.
On August 23, the government launched the Economic Policy Package XIII on construction of housing for low-income people (MBR), in line with the National Program for the Construction of One Million Houses.
