Ministry Tells Regions to Accelerate Regional Budget Realization

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Home Affairs Ministry have told regional governments to speed up the realization of the budget in 2016 in the rest of the year.

Expert Staff of the Ministry of Suhajar Diantoro said regional governments were asked to do the strategies to accelerate the realization of the budget at the end of this year.

"Each local government has a strategy respectively. Regional governments have been asked to speed up the realization of the budget in accordance with their corridors," he said in Pekanbaru, Friday (30/9).

Regional governments have also been asked to abide by the regulations in realizing the budget.

Suhajar added, regional governments should not be afraid involved in corruption cases if the realization of the budget is in accordance with the corridors.

He said there should be no reason why regional governments are slow to realize budget because the auction is held before the budget year.
