TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Police are set to deploy 8,350 personnel to secure the demonstration held by the Indonesian Worker Union Confederation (KSPI). Jakarta Police Spokesperson Sr. Comr. Awi Setiyono said that the police will be deployed at critical venues, such as the state palace.
"We will send our personnel to secure vital objects like the State Palace, Monas, and HI Boulevard," he said.
Awis said that a number of traffic anticipation has been build, as the mob will likely caused traffic congestion. "We will also deploy our personnel in the toll road that the mob is passing through," he added.
The mob plans to voice their concern about tax amnesty, and demand on raise of standard wage.
