Tax Amnesty Reported Assets at Rp1.133tn

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The total amount of assets reported in the tax amnesty program has reached Rp1.133,77 trillion as of today, September 21, 2016. The assets were reported by 100.227 taxpayers that have reported their Asset Declaration Letter (SPH).

According to the statistics from the Tax Directorate General website, from the total reported assets, a Rp777 trillion were domestic declaration, and the international declaration reached Rp298 trillion. Meanwhile, the total fund repatriated from the program has reached Rp58,7 trillion and the total retribution fee collected from the taxpayers that have submitted the SPH is at Rp27,16 trillion.

From the total amount of the retribution fee, a Rp23,9 trillion was from non-SME individual taxpayers and a Rp2,3 trillion was paid by non-SME coorporate taxpayers, a Rp901 billion was paid by SME individual taxpayers, and a Rp32,2 billion was paid by SME coorporate taxpayers.

The total number of taxpayers that have (and have yet) delivered their SPH, according to the data, is around 101.119 taxpayers. The total amount of retribution assets that have been pulled-in in the tax amnesty program is at Rp28, 75 trillion.

The tax amnesty program has been going on for two months since its first rolled-out on July 19, 2016. From the program, the government targetted a state revenue of Rp165 trillion in the 2016 state budget.
