TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The development of micro, small and medium enterprises or SMEs through e-commerce marketing is considered not spread evenly and is only concentrated in Java.

"But indeed, the use of e-commerce is still mainly in Java while users in other areas, such as Sumatra, is still small," she said in Palembang, Friday (16/9).
Aviliani said to expand Marketing SMEs in the regions, the role of local government is needed.
According to her, tworking unit (SKPD), which handles SMEs, such as the trade and industry needs to play their role in bridging the SMS players to be able to market their products through e-commerce services.
"They must not just see the market here but also markets out there and it can all be done with the digital economy," he said.
She added especially in the era of the Asean Economic Community (AEC), SMEs must be able to compete with t products from neighboring countries in Southeast Asia.
However, Aviliani is optimistic about the growth of SMEs until the end of the year.
"I see the growth is still good because banks are still willing to give credit to SMEs," she said.
