TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh will partake in the OPEC meeting in Algeria next month, the SHANA announced Thursday, Aug. 25.
In the meeting, Iranian delegation will support OPEC country members to restrict oil production deals that aim to create a balance in the market.
Oil prices in the market fell under $50 from $100 per barrel in 2014.
OPEC members will meet on the sidelines of the International Energy Forum (IEF) in Algeria on September 26-28.
OPEC will revive talks on freezing oil production level when meeting with non-OPEC countries in Algeria, according to SHANA.
