TEMPO.CO, Bekasi - Police have confiscated 295 kilograms of dried marijuana from a dealer in Cikarang, Bekasi. The marijuana is supplied from Sumatra, sent by trucks, according to Bekasi Chief of Police, Sr. Comr. Awal Chairudin.
Chairudin said that the marijuana network was revealed following a testimony from an arrested dealer.
"We had found 1 kilogram of marijuana," said Awal Thursday, August 24, 2016. "Then we discovered more sacks of marijuana."
The marijuana was from behind the bars. The already arrested dealer masterminded the operation, asking his network to sell out the products. He had promised to give Rp20 million if the marijuana is sold out.
Awal said that both suspects will face narcotics law with a death penalty as its maximum sentence.
