State Has Collected Rp231bn Tax Amnesty Retribution Charge

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Directorate General of Tax at the Finance Ministry Tuesday, August 9, has reported on its official website that the tax amnesty retribution charge had reached Rp231.43 billion.

The amount is part of the total declared asset of Rp10.9 trillion. The Directorate General of Tax has also received 1,579 statements on tax amnesty request.

From the total declared asset, the DG has noted domestic asset of Rp8.81 trillion and foreign asset of Rp1.43 trillion.

Meanwhile, the repatriated fund received as per today, the DG said, has reached Rp669 billion.

The tax amnesty program has taken place for three weeks since it was first implemented. The government has set a target of Rp165 trillion of repatriated funds in the 2016 revised state budget.
