N. Jakarta Police Arrest Construction Worker for Meth Possession

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Suwondo, (55), a construction worker in an apartment in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, was arrested by Kelapa Gading Sector Police after he was caught doing a transaction of trading shabu-shabu (meth).

"We arrested him at 11 pm local time,” said Comr. Sungkono, an official at North Jakarta Police on Saturday (30/7).

Sungkono added that the arrest began when officials from Kelapa Gading sector police was on patrol and received information of a meth transaction at the fly over in front of Artha Gading Mall. The officials then came to the scene to do the investigation.

Sungkono added that the officials confiscated one package of meth and one package of cigarette from Suwondo, who was then taken to Kepala Gading sector police headquarter for questioning.
