Game Developer from Madura Represents Indonesia in Imagine Cup

TEMPO.CO, Seattle -Indonesia sent game developers team None Developer from the Madura Trunojoyo University to compete in the final round of the 2016 Imagine Cup opened on Wednesday, July 2016, in Seattle, the United States.
The None Developer presented Froggy and Pesticide game, featuring a frog as the main character.
“The game indirectly calls on the player to be environmentally conscious and not to use chemical pesticides,” team member Anwar Fuadi said. “We’re very proud of being in the final and competing in Seattle.”
Participants of the final round are winners of the Imagine Cup held in their countries. Tunisia is the only country that send two teams.
The Imagine Cup is a global competition held by Microsoft for IT developers to showcase their apps. The annual competition has been held for 14 times. As many as 35 teams are competing in three apps development categories, namely Games, Innovation and World Citizenship.
Judges of the 2016 Imagine Cup include Microsoft executives, Starbuck executives, computer science professor from Carniege Mellon University, venture capitalists, Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie star John Boyega, and the winner of the previous Imagine Cup.
Finalists are competing for prize money and others. In addition, the world champion will receive special mentoring from CEO Microsoft Satya Nadella. The winner will be announced on July 28, 2016 at Microsoft campus Redmond in Seattle.
