Tourism Ministry, Galeries Lafayette Promote Wonderful Indonesia

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Tourism Ministry has joined hands with Galeries Lafayette Jakarta to promote the Wonderful Indonesia campaign.
Galeries Lafayette together with a number of prominent Indonesian designers and artists have expressed their support for the campaign during the summer break.
The department store, located within the Pacific Place, will host the Iconic Indonesian Designer’s Corner, an exclusive area furnished with unique, world-class, inspiring Indonesian designs. It will also feature a number of clothing collections, from the affordable to premium ones, that will satisfy the need of various custumers in Indonesia.
“The partnership between Tourism Ministry and Galeries Lafayette is expected to effectively promote Indonesia’s tourism potential to both domestic and foreign tourists,” the Deputy Foreign Tourism Marketing Development Division, I Gede Pitana, told a press conferenceWednesday at Galeries Lafayette Jakarta.
Wonderful Indonesia promotes Indonesia’s top 15 destinations like Bali, Lombok, Labuan Bajo, Flores and Komodo Island, among others. The Wonderful Indonesia campaign carried out with Galeries Lafayette Jakarta is one of the ministry’s promotional efforts, both domestically and abroad.
“Aside from promoting Indonesia’s best destinations, we are aiming to always create the most memorable experience in the store,” said Arnold Ratnawati, Corporate PR, Sales & CRM Directer, Panen Lestari Internusa.
