TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - US-based renewable energy company has stated its readiness to invest in Indonesia. The company has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the State Electricity Company (PLN) to produce wind-powered electricity.
"The company will carry out a trial at PLN's Engineering School," said Franky Sibarani, Chief of the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) in a press release dated July 5, 2016.
Franky added that the company will establish an Indonesian company and will construct wind-powered electricity infrastructure.
In addition to renewable energy sector, the BKPM also noted that other US companies had shown interest in investing in the mining sector.
