TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-Toll road provider PT Lintas Marga Sedaya (LMS) continues to find a way to speed up toll road transaction. PT Lintas Marga Sedaya spokesperson Hudaya Arryanto said a few days ago that the company has implemented rounding rates and voucher sales for Category 1 vehicles with destination Cikarang Utama-Palimanan.
“A 20 percent discount program specifically for electronic payment users has apply since Sunday, Jul 3,” Hudaya said Monday, Jul 4.
In order to promote e-payment use, the company has also integrated automatic toll gate payment system, according to Hudaya. LMS is cooperating with four major banks in Indonesia providing e-payment, namely BCA, Bank Mandiri, BNI, and BRI in the e-payment toll road program and is giving a 20 percent discount for e-payment.
The e-payment method has increased. From the data gathered by LMS, e-payment users in Cipali have increased 8-10 percent from previously 4 percent.
“Payment using e-payment will accelerate transactions at toll gates,” said Hudaya.
Hudaya said Cipali toll gate recorded a vehicle declined on H-2 Eid. Based on observation on July 3 to 4 at 6a.m., around 53,010 vehicles per day were passing Cipali toll road from Jakarta to Cirebon and exiting at Palimanan toll gate.
“The number is down by 13 percent compared to the previous day with 60,800 vehicles,” said Hudaya.
